Pink Ribbon Warrior

I am a Pink Ribbon Warrior who was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2014.

So hearing those words they found breast cancer instantly changes everything... For a moment I didn't breathe ... It felt longer. I guess I knew it was coming. After all my oldest sister had died of abreast cancer and my cousin was surviving but had the gene... So maybe I expected it. First they call you back after your Mammogram ... Say they need z few more films. Then three doctors come in and usher you into an office.  By now I knew something was wrong. I knew sitting in an office wasn't SOP. Lord knows I'd had my share of mammograms and never before had they ended with with sitting in a private office. At first it was just abnormal ... A biopsy.. Then it was waiting for the results. The results came in and they said looks pre cancerous but next came the surgical biopsy and then the waiting. On April 30th 2014 at 8:30 am test were back and I had breast cancer.

I'm lucky we caught it early totally curable but there will be more surgery. Radiation, tomoxafan... My head is spinning.
