The journey we are on is not set in stone... At any time, we can decide to change the road we're on in life... change directions... follow a new path...seek a new adventure!
Only we truly know what we want from life and if we're on the path that will lead us to where we want to be... the journey that will ultimately lead to where we are meant to me.

Paris - What an amazing city.
Our visit was short but we saw a lot and missed a whole lot more we walked the city for the most park in fact everywhere in Europe we walked except for the occasional bus tour for hard to reach sites like Pompeii in Sicily.
Paris was magically at night from the standpoint of beauty. We are a little long in the tooth to be clubbing but and glass of wine at dinner is fine.
Sandbox rules of life
We all know the rules of the sandbox. They were enforced on the playground, and apply to life. In every aspect, every situation, our work, our friends, our family, our life... We can apply the basic sandbox rules for success. 1. Play nice. 2. No name calling. 3. Don't throw sand. 4. Share your toys.
This sums up the core guiding values they should determine our behavior. Play by the sandbox rules and you will always be kind... Never gossip or call people names... Or say things that are cruel and unnecessary... No hitting, biting, fighting or throwing things or throwing temper tantrums ... And you will share your success, your blessings, your wisdom, your self, your lunch, your toys.
Apply to your life, your work, your relationships ... These are the basic principals... If everyone followed the sandbox rules ... that kindergartens's can abide by, the world would be a better, more peaceful, and lovely place. It's just that simple.

Choose your legacy
Do what you are good at and what love to do.... Follow your passion...If you sit behind a desk 9 to 5 every day working for someone else, building someone else's business or you dislike your job or your work environment... take steps to change it! Your control of your destiny. What you do everyday it ultimately your life so choose to follow your true north... follow your passion...build for yourself... create for your life...
Write a list of what you're good at... what you really love in your heart ... list those things you find passion in... Then go after it... Follow your passion! This may mean you need to look at changing jobs, locations, or working for yourself... it may mean you follow your creative instincts or go back to school... whatever it is.. do it!
Be true to yourself and use your talents and desires... you will find taking the risk to follow your passions will make your life so much happier... it won't it easy but will be worth it in the end... When you can wake up each morning and can say you love your work and those you work with... your life will have less stress...
When you live your life with authenticity and are genuine each day in your actions and thoughts... you will touch the people and the world around you and the legacy you leave behind will be cherished...

Croatia - Our little apartment
We rented this little apartment right on the walk within walking distance of a small corner shop and restaurant for light dinners.
Very cool and laid back setting. All of the locals were very helpful when the airport shuttle dropped us off at wrong address. Luckily for us everyone in the neighborhood new the local property manager who just happened to be our contact.
We had our phones setup to work when we landed via AT&T and they weren't we were totally offline with no phone or web access. Kind of of cool for a minute. Being untethered is a strange feeling but I think I will get used to it.

Wide awake
It's almost 1:00am and my alarm goes off at 5:20am.... Wish I could say my eyes are closed but instead my mind is racing. Thinking about where I want my life to be a year from.. Two years...is the path I'm on the one that will bring the most joy and be true to my desires? Am I closer to reaching my goals? Have my goals changed or have I just glossed over to make the now a more tolerant experience? Where is this journey leading? Can I follow my true north and still manage the everyday practicalities? These are the questions I lay awake thinking about... How to be sincere and authentic in my life... To have each day be a joy... To pursue my passions... I ask these questions and all the while contemplating and searching for real estate in Chile, Brazil and Panama.... My heart and mind thousands of miles from here... Thousands of mile from my 5:20am alarm... Casitas on the beach... Hammocks on the patios... Day dreaming of lazy days looking at to the sea...paint brush in hand ... Or early morning sunrises... Camera in hand... My journey leads to where I'm meant to be... My minds has other ideas... For now I'll focus on the daily grind and 5:20am wake up call...knowing I'm blessed for so much... I have faith this journey will lead me on the path I'm meant to be on... Patience... Patience... Patience... I believe !

Today saw Michael Angelos - David in all it's glory larger than life spectacular and awe inspired truly brought art history class to life. Amazing a single piece of art can be so outstanding it stops you in your tracks and causes tears of pure joy to swell in your eyes. This is true art at it raw core...an experience that will forever change me...
The gypsy in me
I've spent my entire life...always leaving. Waiting to go, getting back, making plans to leave. Is it the gypsy in me or am I running away? or do I just desire the adventure and intrigue of seeing the world? Whatever the reason; the outcome is the same. I'm always leaving.
I attended twelve schools in as many years despite attending the same school from kindergarten through fourth grade. Do the math. Nine schools in the remaining eight years and on more than one occasion, two schools in the same school year. Sometimes I looking for a place to fit in; other times I was following the instability of my parents. Again the result was the same. I was always leaving.
I've managed to maintain friendships that have lasted a lifetime and a marriage that has lasted almost as long, so although I move, travel, run to the nearest "next" I have kept with me the people I love and a piece of where I have been has always stays with me.
When my husband and I were young and newly married almost twenty years ago now, we decided that we should always be on vacation. So we planned a trip and left every three months be it for a long weekend or a week; be it near or far... We were always leaving.
We figured out early on that in a three months period we could be planning our next trip, getting ready to leave, or be just returning. In a never ending cycle of going on vacation. We did this by choice to ensure when we worked hard; we always played harder.
We have traveled throughout Mexico, and most of the Hawaiian island, and much of the Caribbean.
We've seen most major cities in the US and even seen parts of Canada and South America.
We have traveled in Europe and traveling through as many countries and cities as we can see. We will share our adventures with you but also share this.
Life is short and although it seems vast, our planet is just a speck of sand on someone else's beach. Grad the hand of the one you love and don't let go. Work hard but only so you can play hard, otherwise you work hard for no reason at all and time passes and one day you look wake up and see nothing but the cars on front of you sitting in traffic. What you spend your days doing is what you spend your life doing. Choose to live, travel, love and laugh...

Venice Italy
More Venice
We decided to contribute to the over all splendor of the moment being a birthday we decided to create our own paradise within theirs.
Four slices of incredible pizza and a lovely bottle of champagne eaten and drank while sitting on the canal bank next to the Rialto Bridge brought laughter and smiles to passerby's allowing us to participate in our micro patsies in Venice, Italy.
Vienna Austria
Vienna a city I grew up hearing stories about... Today we saw the palace and viewed the city from the trolley which we took in the wrong direction... Twice, but all good took tons of pics and found the cocktails:)
The city is a landscape of palaces, opera houses and museums all in classic architecture that show influences of Victorian, Greek, Roman and the Viennese Hungarian empire. Every corner you turn you find yourself taken back in time with ornamental carvings and statues framing the window arches, doors and even columns. Built as early as the 14th century these buildings are maintained in their original glory. Additionally there are multiple classic gothic churches with spears that are scattered across the city giving the landscape a unique flare as all the influences meld together along side the newer buildings creating a spectacular and elegant flare.
The food is exceptional with a variety of potato and pasta dishes with schnitzel (breaded cutlets) along with fresh salads, fruit and vegetables giving you a hardy varied menu to tempt your senses, Pastries including hot fritters, strudel and Danish with cheese, strawberry, and marzipan make for a desert or accompany a coffee Vienna style with whipped cream. Also the only country fried eggs were on the menu.
Handsome cabs with old style carriages line the streets along the museum district where prince Albert's palace and the parliament buildings are all close by. Inside is an old school horse stables with the court yard of what could be a palace in itself has horse stables to house the many horses that pull carriages through the streets.
It's an artistic city with public sculptures and fountains in the parks and squares. Some from the 14th to 16th centuries others modern art. And just as the buildings old and new meld to provide a dramatic and elegant landscape the art work so prevalent throughout the city gives you a unique sense of this historical city.
Connected with and underground subway and above ground trolleys make the city very accessible. The University of Vienna is in the center of the city yet somehow on and near campus you feel very much like you are in a college town with large open areas, parks, and green trees.

Be fearless
- I am completely responsible for what I have created in my life. What I have created, I can un-create. What I like... I can create more of....
- There are no 'mistakes' as everything happens for a reason and works toward my highest good....
- I am unlimited in what I can do. I am more powerful than I can imagine but I believe....
- How I choose to perceive and interpret the events and people in my life is completely up to me and greatly influences the delicate eco-system in my mind, and thus similarly influences what happens to me externally. I control my reactions ... I choose my joy...
- I am only limited by my self-imposed beliefs.... I believe in the abundance if love and laughter in my life... I believe I can create more and give it to the universe with my positive energy...Practice makes perfect....

- The conflicts and struggles I perceive all around me are actually within me.... Perception is 99% reality ... I can change my perception...

Life is a reflection
What is in your world externally is nothing more than a mirror of what is going on internally....to change your external vision of what your world appears to be, go within and change it there.... then the outward vision will change to mirror your inward feelings.... The universe is a reflection of what we feel and how we perceive what goes on around us....Today I will focus on my blessings and smile... Focus on love and laughter .... Wise words
Live well... And really live... Good friends, good food, good wine...and a good job... This doesn't mean make more money but rather find passion in what you do... What we do everyday is our life and most of us spend hours each day working... So don't dread it ... No matter what they pay you. Dreading every day is never worth it..
Love much... Love yourself, love your spouse, love your family... Love your life.. Make a point of going out and doing things you love... Run, skate, sail, dance... Whatever it is... Do it!
Laugh hard... Really hard.. Rolling on the floor hard.. Til you have a cramp in you side and need to stop and then laugh some more...
And travel often... Always be leaving, coming or going.... The adventure awaits...
The Peculiarities of Life
Today no matter many times I insisted the universe would reward me for my positive attitude and no matter much I tried to convince myself life is grand... I found myself forgetting to be thankful for what I have and instead focused on those things I want but thus far have eluded me. Usually I'm very confident the universe works as it should and that all things happen for a reason. Today I found myself distressed I could not determine the reasons... Which lead to frustration.
I know I'm just a spec of sand on someone else's much grander beach but today I wanted to know why... Of course the answer eludes me which lead to more frustration.
What's important is that I let go... I let go of my worries of what is and isn't ... I let go of the stress of not knowing why everything doesn't work out perfectly ... I let go and accepted what is to be on beach will be and the reasons are of no consequence. The waves will crash along the shore and subside again and again and there is not to be a treason why.
The peculiar thing about life... Is I already know I have no control of what happens around me... And I spend a lot of energy choosing to consciously accept this and just focus of the blessings I have been given in this life... this day...this moment, focus on the love laughter and joy ... yet even with all this focus and acceptance today I didn't get it...
Today I saw the negative in people... in life and it made me sad. I saw my failures and felt them. Today I had to learn a lesson I thought I already knew...today I had to remember reality is 99% perception ... And regardless of what is or isn't working in my life... I choose my reaction....that's what I can control... I can choose to be happy despite a set back... I have to choose to focus on the love and laughter in my life ... Focus on my blessings...My amazing husband and grand love... After all my spec of sand may just be a spec but its an peculiar magical and magnificent little spec of beach in a grand universe ... That has its reasons !

Choose Happiness
Happiness is everywhere. Sometimes you just have to look around to see it....A happy or successful person is not someone who is living in a certain set of circumstances, but rather someone who is living with a… certain set of attitudes. The happiness of the next moment in life is determined by the decisions and thoughts of this moment in life. . . happiness is a state of mind depending on what you include and exclude in your thoughts... If everything happens for a reason and I believe it does, then it is our interpretation of what happens that defines that experience.... We can have a tragedy or hardship in our life and our path is determined by our response. If we see ourselves the helpless victim of our circumstances, our life experience will that of a victim with no control of our path. If we see the tragedies and challenges as opportunities to overcome and find personal growth and peace in life we will be in control of the path we follow, Our life is a sum total of each experience we have. Our response to these experiences determine our attitude and outlook on life. We can chose our path, follow our true north, embrace a life of love, laughter, and happiness by responding to our human experiences in this way. Putting love, laughter, and happiness out to the universe and we will attract the same pulling positive energy towards us.

Berlin Germany - my thoughts
Germany,.,, I thought Berlin would be harsh and even scary.., like somehow the dark history would carry over to the very essence of the city. In some ways I was right.... The language is harsh and while we were there the weather was cloudy and gray and raining on and off....adding to that sense sorrow and a haunting of the past. The streets were wide and modern as were much of the buildings. An occasional old brick building with gingerbread would stand dwarfed by the taller newer architecture. These seemed
